I had a new engine put in my sons AudiA4. Jon was great! He went over and above what he needed to do to get it done for me. I would trust them with any car and I know that they are honest with their customers and take pride in their work. The work is reasonably priced too! Excellent people! Excellent work! Great place overall!
Been a customer (Male) there for years never really had a problem. Yes they're quick and cheap, but i've been lied to with a replacement of the coolant/antifreeze being that it was weak and it would freeze up at 0F in which it would cost me $80-90 to flush it, since I drive often i needed an oil change again, I went to kupper instead. They also tested the coolant condition (with the windchill to -4 today) they came back and said it was good till -50F. Although I was lied to by the manager (not employee) at Mr. Lubester, in that exact same experience something was stolen off of my dash that cost me $30. It was very obvious that it was missing because it had stuck on the windshield. Since it cost me $44 at Kupper instead of $37 for an oil change at Mr. Lubester I would much rather have honest feedback, and a much greater customer experience at Kupper automotive.
Very professional and quick service. They also came in $200 less than quotes I received elsewhere. Will only go to Capital Heights for future work. Honest mechanics.
I'm out $3,000 after this shop refused to replace camshaft synch/sensor when they ran the diag code and found it bad. Per their advice, I then spent $800 replacing items that weren't even yet due to be replaced (and 2 months of time back and forth of lost wages). All along, the problem was the camshaft synch/sensor. They initially said they were not going to replace it because the noise it was making was intermittent.
