Academy Roofing

Academy Roofing was contracted to put a new roof on my house in 2015/2016 timeframe. Academy Roofing didn’t install a boot around a vent and I ended up with water running down my walls. Academy accepted liability when they thought that their in-house handyman could fix things. Once they found out the damage included mold they walked away. Don’t do business with this company, they are sketchy and don’t stand behind their 10 year warranty.

Academy roofing took the time to really look at the problem before repairing it. The other 4 companies did not and charged twice as much. While working, took the time to show me the problem and how they were fixing it. In the area of roof repair, they are tops with me. Most companies want to replace your whole roof and then only if it is covered by insurance. It's hard to find a good company let alone a great one.

We had Academy replace the roof on our 2000 year house in 2008 after a windstorm. We were so pleased with their work that several years later we had them put on gutter guards. After the heavy rain we had this past week we found water leaking in our kitchen on New Years Day. We called Academy knowing they would be closed on the holiday and left a message for help! Their recording said the would return our call first thing in the morning and they did! Scott came out at 10 am and inspected the roof and window above the leak. Scott determined the stucco around the window was incorrectly installed with too much caulk. He gave us the name of a paint and stucco repairman who he uses for professional repairs. He also told us how to do a temporary repair until it can be fixed professionally. After 45 minutes he left insisting no charge was necessary. As a former realtor I highly recommend Academy Roofing.
