Richmond Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy

I first started training in 1991 and serve as an instructor. Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu has been one of the great things in my life. My health and confidence has improved, and I know i have effective fighting skills for self-defense. Training is fun and challenging.

As a woman, Moy Yat Kung Fu has definitely been an inspiration to me. it teaches how a smaller, weaker person can use positioning and structure to defeat a larger, stronger attacker. I think it is the most practical style of kung fu and that this school teaches the most authentic version. I would recommend it to anyone looking for real, practical, authentic kung fu.

This is an impressive group and school with a unique presence. The classes for the children are artistic and enhance cultural exposure like no other School I've known. The Ving Tsun art has a proud and effective history. I'd recommend it for families or individuals on many levels; The art, the school, the people, the programs, the culture. The whole experience.

The Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu Academy is a worthwhile, positive learning experience that I would recommend to anyone! I look forward to visiting again in the near future!
