Phillips Electric of WS

Excellent work! Would highly recommend this company! Overall I am very pleased with the work done by Phillips Electric and feel blessed that their attention to detail resulted in a repair that, gone unnoticed, may have resulted in injury or property damage. I had contacted Phillips Electric to request an estimate for installing receptacles and lights on our deck. On the day of the estimate the electricians arrived on time and reviewed the requested work with me before beginning the estimate. Once completed Mr. Phillips suggested some minor alterations that would allow for a cleaner, more practical application.

A written estimate was received shortly after the home visit and a date was agreed upon to begin the work. The work began on time as scheduled with the majority of the project completed on day one. On the second day of the job I was notified of what appeared to be a minor problem in the fuse panel. One of the lines entering the panel from outside was missing several inches of insulation. Mr. Phillips stated that it would be relatively simple fix and that he would attend to it as they added the new circuit to the fuse panel. Upon inspection however it was discovered that the line in question had never been secured was only resting in position. Further examination of the surrounding materials was suspect for possible damage and it was decided to replace the breaker. Inspection of the old breaker revealed discoloration and damage to the surrounding metal and plastic the appearance of which appeared to be consistent with what is encountered in overheating.

The condo I have is very old and nothing had been updated, especially the lighting in the dinning room. I needed more lighting to work on the computer as well as more light sockets in the kitchen. James Phillips conducted an assessment and was able to provide me with electrical strips professionally installed above the longest kitchen counter in my kitchen. I am able to plug in several counter-top appliances, such as more than one crock pot, to be used simultaneously! He also was able to install track lighting in the dinning room so that I can position the lights where I need lighting the most! Now I can use my computer with the appropriate lighting while my family can eat dinner without as much lighting. The lighting is beautiful and I recieve many compliments from everyone that comes to visit. The job is professional and was not as costly as I feared it would be! Fast Service. extended service. Pricey but definitely worth it.

We recently asked James Phillips to mount our TV to our brick fireplace and also hide the wires. He was great to work with and did a great job! James was punctual, worked hard, worked fast, and did a high quality job. We already asked James to come back next week to wire our ceiling for a fan and put in some task lighting in our kitchen. I look forward to working with James again because I know we are going to get quality work done. I would highly recommend James Phillips to anyone.
