El Padrino Mexican Restaurant

Best Mexican restaurant in Hot Springs. Good food, service, atmosphere, Margaritas and the soup! They are next to Cato Fashion, Rainbow Apparel, At Last Bridal Shop, Solar Nails... all my favorite shops beside the Albert Pike Walmart.

El Jimador has great food and friendly staff, all at decent prices. I have been there many times, and will continue to do so. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.

I love Mexican food and this is as good as any I've ever eaten! We try to enjoy this fantastic restaurant at least once a week.

We go there all the time...the food comes out fast,it's not to expensive, and the people are friendly. They are so good you miss them when you go anywhere else. I went to a different mexican resturant in hot springs and was filled with disappointment... compared to them the other place was...lack luster and over priced to put it nicely. I love the El P.! :)

Ice cold beer! Delicious Mexican food- enjoyed the tamales, chicken quesadillas, fajitas, and ... the kids loved the burgers and chicken sandwich!

I don't gravitate to Mexican restaurants and came to this one because of proximity to where we live and in order to try something new.

The restaurant has a nice, friendly atmosphere, though it could use some more wall decorations. The booths are relatively small and accommodate four people, leaving more room to place tables . It's a very good arrangement.

But of course we came for the FOOD. Good chips and salsa were served as soon as we sat down. We were especially happy to see a vegetarian section on the menu. There was a more than adequate variety of choices on the menu.

I ordered a taco salad and my husband had fajitas. The meal was brought in short order, and the food was tasty and tastefully prepared. The size of the serving was adequate: we had no leftovers.

For the budget watchers: the prices are fair and reasonable.

For a just opened restaurant, El Padrino has got it right. The service is first rate and the food is first class. They have been open one week and we have eaten there 3 times.
