Village Realty Apartment Rentals

We lived in the Shrewsbury Village Apartments for 2 years and honestly could not have been more pleased with the experience. The apartments are simple but cozy, with a beautiful large window that provides a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. Shrewsbury itself is the most wonderful, peaceful, stunning place that we have ever lived, and these apartments are nestled right in the heart of all of the beauty and simplicity. A short walk up the street will lead you to the most perfect view that you have ever seen, but almost anywhere you drive, walk, run, or bike outside, you will find equally beautiful places to see and explore. The apartments are located less than 3 miles from the Rail Trail, less than a mile from a playground, and very close to the shopping centers and I-83, making it a very convenient place to live with easy access to Baltimore, York, and Harrisburg. However, despite it's convenient location, it has a small town feel. The downtown area is one street, and you have to check out The Village Coffee Shop because their ice cream is to die for and they sell the most beautiful stuff! The people are the nicest people in the world, and because of the location the weather tends to be cooler, the bugs tend to be less bad in the summer, the air seems to be fresher and cleaner, and the world seems to be less chaotic. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews about the staff at Village Realty either. They were all wonderful, understanding, and caring. Maintenance was taken care of promptly, and the handyman was knowledgeable and great. I always felt like they truly cared about us and were glad that we were living there. We were so sad when we had to move away for work related reasons, and we hope one day to be able to move back because it was such a pleasant experience living there! We sincerely hope that the next person who rents our apartment and that everyone else living in Shrewsbury Village enjoys the beautiful town and apartments as much as we did!

I just looked at an apartment for my son at Village realty in Red Lion Pa., The apartments are dark and dank.The appliances are all old and deprecated and gross. (at least 25 or more years old) They make you pay for garbage and sewer and water.
What got my goat is the customer service. I have never been treated so badly ever! Rude, discourteous and ugly.Also they insist you get renters insurance for $250.000. You must pay it all in advance! The apartment in my opinion is not worth $30,000? The ignorance and lack of customer service was appalling! Do not walk but from from any encounter with these people. Thank goodness my son did not rent here we really dodged a bullet!!!

DO NOT RENT FROM VILLAGE REALTY IN YORK, PA. YOU WILL REGRET IT! FIRST OF ALL EMPLOYEES ARE NOT SKILLED AT THEIR JOBS. THEY ARE ALSO VERY RUDE, I'VE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY AT A FAST FOOD RESTUARANT LET ALONE SOMEONE PROVIDING MY HOME. SCAM MONEY ON MAINTENENCE ISSUES, COME IN YOUR HOME WHEN YOU ASK THEM NOT TO DUE TO SLEEPING CHILDREN, HANG UP ON YOU WHEN YOU CALL FOR HELP. MOLDY, NASTY APARTMENTS! WORST 12 MONTHS OF MY LIFE. SAVE YOURSELF!!! THE CHEAP PRICES ENTICED ME, BUT NOT IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ALL THE FEES THEY WOULD SCAM OUT OF ME LATER AND LIE ABOUT! HORRIBLE!
