Castro County Nursing & Rehabilitation

I have visited several nursing homes, this is by far one of the best under current administrator. The home does not smell of urine, is very clean and patients are clean. I was very impressed with the care of my sister in their caring and treatment.
When our family came to visit during hospice, the nurses were so kind to all of us, brought in extra chairs for us to visit with our loved one and brought a fruit bowl, coffee, and snacks as we didn't want to leave her side. Her roommate was taken to another room for a nap to provide us privacy as well as protecting the other resident from our conversations.
I was so impressed with this nursing home and the care given to residents and kindness shown.
