I read the reviews before I went here. I took my pup for a routine shots and a check up. Dr brown was quiet but no one was rude to me, the dr was careful in telling me how to give the dewormer I got, went over it twice and then reiterated before I left. The girls there were neither rude nor friendly, they didn't speak much, but I didn't go there to make friends. Dr brown mostly spoke to me and he made me feel as if he cared, because (in my opinion) I told him how fabulous my pup was and how hard I try to take care of my pup( whom has long floppy ears which are prone to infection). I will def go back there. I think his age is a benefit to the fact that he knows what he's doing. For example, other dr would tell me to purchase this $12 solution to clean my baby's ears. Dr brown told me what to use, which is less than a dollar in the store. (And, I already did research myself on that topic so I knew he was right). i told the dr I had read these reviews but I don't take a whole lot of weight from an individual whom can't spell correctly.

They don't even deserve a star! This post is meant to save others from the heartache this man and his rude condescending staff will put you through should you choose to take your furry family member there. Everyone there should learn what the word compassion means and recite the definition daily to remind themselves. We took our beloved cat there after being gone for 2 days yesterday (Wed) knowing they close at 12 for an evaluation as we thought it would be better to be safe than sorry. There were no visible wounds. Dr. Brown is very gruff as is his staff (I think learned behavior from him) and did not look at my cat 3 minutes before wanting to know her temperature and then proceeded to tell us only to leave her there overnight for fluids. I asked if we gave her enough time to bounce back as it had only been 10 hours and he yelled at me "Yes you gave her enough time". My husband retired military officer tried to ask it another way and he replied in what I perceived as a smart tone" Yes I need to keep her you have a sick kitty check on her in the morning!". Sick is a very relative term to many~ there is virus sick and there is potentially deathly sick! His only reply when we would ask ANYTHING "Check back in the morning". 18 hrs later phone call from rude staff member to say "kitty was dead". Only explanation~programmed to say "she was a sick kitty". When our family went to pick up her remains I expressed to the staff that they should be more compassionate as these are family members we are entrusting them with. She yelled at me "Your cat was gone for 2 days and I have 4 animals!" and called for Dr. Brown to come. He immediately started yelling at me and pointing his finger in my face and telling us to leave. Glad he doesn't need our business anymore since we have two other cats! Lastly when I asked the lady her name if you want to call her that at first she didn't reply and I said "I guess you don't want me to know that" she said it's at the bottom of the paper if you can read! I won't stoop that low to call her out. NEVER ONE HUG OR I'M SORRY. I went up the road to get a cement figure from one of the pottery shops here in town and the first thing that lady a complete stranger said was I'm sorry and gave me a bear hug which is what one would expect from a friendly little town like Seagrove. End result is Dr. Brown had no idea what happened to my Cuddles~ not even a speculation as to what may have happened. This is what we paid him for??????

Dr. Brown is a jerk and him and his team of nurses need to buy a personality and learn what compassion is. I was slapped with a $63 bill when I was told it would cost $18. He's rough and quick treating my dog, and speaks to people like they're garbage. He argued with me over the phone &didn't take responsibility for the wrong info I was given. He was so disrespectful. The old dinosaur needs to retire bcuz he doesn't know what he's doing &won't tell you how to care for your sick pet at all. I will never go here again for ANYTHING. I won't even let my dog take a dump in their grass.

I took my cat to dr Brown afte...

I took my cat to dr Brown after he had been in intensive care over the weekend as my regular vet was closed. This jerk refused to even look at the paperwork, said he didn't take other vets problems.he just kept repeating it over and over. His nurse looked humiliated because had told me my cat would be taken. The cat was on a catheter that I couldn't remove and it needed to come out. he didn't care one bit that my cat was very sick. He told me to go home that he would be fine.really? How would he know. He never even looked at the paper work from the er. Dr.Brown needs to retire because he is useless and doesn't give a flip about people or animals.ps he doesn't deserve the one star.

Caring and compassionate vet who puts the animals' welfare above all else. I discovered the prices were more than fair after finding out I was being gouged by a previous vet.

Dr, Brown mest up my dogs ears. #1 He cut them wrong. #2 He would not fix them when the bandages started coming off. #3 It coast us more than they told us from the start. He also, had a very poor atittude towards me and my wife. Very smart remarks to us made.

Dr. Brown is wonderful!

My stepfather's family has used Dr. Brown for years. My dog recently had emergency surgery for a stomach issue. The staff and Dr. Brown treated our lab like she was their own. They were thorough, efficient, and very compassionate. On top of that, his prices were incredibly fair! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. We were very lucky to have his services and, thank goodness, our lab is back at home and recovering well!
