Jackson's Mill Storage

We have been customers of this business for around 3 years now and until recently had no problems at all. Recently we had one of our debit cards cloned and as a result had funds removed from our account that should not have been, in the process our bank had mailed a pre set check out to them for $55 for our storage unit. As soon as we noticed what was going on and started a police report about the debit card cloning we notified Jacksons Mill Storage about this problem and said that the check they got would be declined to NSF (which it was) and as soon as the bank put money back into out account we would reissue a check. We were told no problem, it wont be a issue.



A new check was mailed by our bank for the original $55 + another months storage fees which cleared our bank account 2/22. Jacksons Mill Storage received the new check less than a week after the original check was not honored. Now fast forward until the a couple days ago.



While checking the mail we find that Jacksons Mill Storage made a complaint to the magistrates office and unless we make payment to the magistrates office a warrant will be issued for the arrest of my wife, this complaint was made 5 days after they received the replacement check! No one from this place even attempted to contact us, we initiated contact with them in the first place, were reassured it would be fine and the next thing we know they are filing a complaint for a check that they had received and have since cashed after making the complaint.



After a couple attempts at trying to get this issue resolved we have been told that the owner is on vacation and the managers Ashley and Mary are not in despite making them aware of the fact they have filed a complaint. The local magistrate has even stated that under no circumstances should they have accepted payment after making a complaint (which was clearly the case)



I strongly urge people considering a storage unit in or around this area to look elsewhere and go with someone a little more professional.
