My family has delt with stewarts for at least 50 years. I always get a fresh arrangment for memorial holiday. I live an hour away and stewarts is the only place I get my flowers. They have always treated me great

Worst experience you could imagine--over flowers!?

People who actually live in Hazleton have me advised against using Stewart's because they have a reputation of being rude, but I unknowingly used them via an order I placed on FTD.com for a birthday gift. They delivered a $60 arrangement that was completely wilted after being on a shaded porch (not a hot day) for less than an hour...and they had spider mites! Not knowing that I went through FTD, the recipient called Stewart's directly to complain. She actually had to bring the flowers back to the store herself!!! They insisted that the arrangement was exactly the same as the picture on FTD (It was not AT ALL), and that the bugs must have been HERS because they "get inspected." Can you believe this nonsense? They ended up giving her a dozen carnations to replace a $60 bouquet that had included roses, and they didn't even arrange them in a vase. I was so furious that I called FTD and the customer service rep was beyond shock. She said the FTD policy is to pick up a bad bouquet, no questions asked, and replace it the same day with an identical one. She offered a million apologies and said FTD would replace the arrangement with one from a different local florist--I suggest that readers do the same...because if you get something from Stewart's that you aren't happy with it, good luck getting it replaced!!!
