THERE IS NOTHING DEFAMATORY OR ACCUSATORY ON THIS REVIEW, AS THE COMPANY SEEMS TO THINK. THIS IS FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND EVERYTHING HERE IS THE TRUTH! This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have never had to deal with such a ridiculous company before in my life. I sent my mother flowers and a balloon as part of a birthday/gender reveal in Florida. They attempted to deliver the item, I received a notification that it was delivered. When I checked my e-mail there was a notice stating that it couldn't be delivered due to no one being home. Turns out the company themselves had the wrong city, even though my confirmation e-mail from Ava's Flowers says the correct city. I had spoke with 3 customer service reps that night and finally tried to cancel my order. They couldn't get a hold of the designer (go figure) so in order to cancel I'd have to call the next morning, which I did, the customer service rep told me yet again he could not get ahold of the designer (Surprise!) He said he would go ahead and file a refund. Fast forward to 4pm this evening, the day after I wanted it delivered, my Mother texted me to tell me she received her flowers. Imagine my surprise when I was pretty sure I cancelled them early that morning. They were delivered after I said not to, the arrangement isn't what I even ordered, and it was missing the balloon that I had to pay for. So the order sat in a hot truck in Florida for an entire day, a night, and then all day the following day and delivered against my wishes. The customer service reps are a joke to even try to talk to. They absolutely refused to give me a refund. This company is the biggest scam I have ever seen. DO NOT order from them EVER!

I ordered some flowers for my anniversary. The promised GUARANTEED delivery before 4.00 pm next day. At exactly 4.00 pm I received a text message saying "please contact us in regards to your recent order with Avas Flowers". I called, and they told me "we just wanted to let you know that we won't be able to deliver the flowers today. Would you like to arrange a new delivery date?" When I asked why they were not able to deliver, they said that the flowers I requested were not available. They why on earth did they try to sell me something they didn't have in the first place? Thanks for ruining it big time! Never again!

I was very pleased as to what was delivered to my aunt & uncle for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a major milestone in their lives and the flowers were just perfect - more than I expected. Thanks to all at Avas Flowers for making a special day more special.

Please do not order from this company. It is the worst company that I had to work with. They got my order wrong. NOT once, twice, three, but FOUR times!!! I originally ordered white calla lilies to be delivered on a Monday. Turns out they did not deliver it on Monday but on Tuesday. But when the flower came it was not the white calla lilies. It was actually a dead plant!!! They submitted the 3rd delivery for Wednesday promising that it would be correct. Unfortunately the 3rd delivery was the wrong flowers as well. The fourth delivery was also WRONG. Their customer service, staff, and company as a whole is extremely incompetent to have made so many mistakes. Not only did I have to take time out of my busy schedule to deal with them I was also embarrassed. The recipient was also embarrassed since she was the talk at her office.



I am extremely appalled and upset with Avas flowers.

This was possibly the worst flower arrangement purchase I've ever been involved in. I am planning to contact the BBB and also the florist you "farmed" my purchase out to. I called on 5/13/14 to place an order for delivery the morning of 5/15/14. I specified that morning was important and the person who took the order said that would be fine. I told him exactly what I wanted and he put me on hold to speak to some imaginary designer, I guess now, and came back to tell me the designer understood what I was looking for. I asked for peonies and then tulips in a color that would compliment the peonies, because the recipient is very fussy and doesn't like a lot of bright colors in her arrangements. The flowers got delivered at 20 after 5 in the evening - after many calls and many more lies - with the peonies and bright yellow tulips that couldn't have been a worse choice. Among the many lies told to both of us - the order was a rush order, the order was on the truck at 11 and would be delivered by 3, the order would be delivered by 4, they tried to deliver the order but no one was there and that Ava's is a local florist - the very first thing I asked. ALL LIES. I spent $140 on flowers that were nothing but a disappointment and caused aggravation all day long. There is no rating less than 1 - which is ridiculous, because the experience was no where near FAIR.

I order a flower arrangement online for a wake/funeral on thursday September 12th at 1 am to be delivered on Sunday September 15th. I received a call on Monday the 16th at 9:30 am to let me know that the flower shop where they were sending the arrangement is out of lilies. They already missed the delivery for a day and they call me to offer something completely different a day AFTER the schedule delivery! No one lets me know whats going on. I had half an hour to find and send flowers through another flower shop, me being 8 hours away from the place. When I called to complain, they let me waiting half an hour on the phone, all of this to finally be on the other end with a costumer service representative with a "so what" attitude, where his answer for when I first explained what was going on was "I don't see what's your problem". The best solution they can offer me is a refund in 5 to 10 business days. Not only I did not get any kind of service from them, but also, they hijacked my money!! They say satisfaction guaranteed....I AM NOT SATISFIED!!

I ordered flowers for a friend for Christmas and they were never delivered. Have called multiple times to get my money back, but they do not call back or respond. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Never never never they did not deliver the flowers I was supposed to get on Valentine's Day even though they were ordered a week ahead of time. When they were contacted they ask for contact information and said someone would call back. They never called
