Buyer beware. Honest enough to be legally protected (I contacted an attorney who has "seen Autohaus on his desk multiple times in the past six months"), but sell you buy-back cars that are un-sellable once they leave the lot as Carfax comes back as Lemon/buyback in big bold red letters--i.e. untouchable from most dealers' standpoint. Gave them opportunity to make things right only a few weeks after I bought my car, but steadfastly unwilling, stating "it's a business," and tried to sell me a Q7 instead.
I will be discouraging everyone from giving them business and encourage all to go with someone who cares about their customers

I recently bought a 2013 VW from European Autohaus and I couldn't be happier with my purchase, or the customer service I recieved at the dealership.
The car was in beautiful condition, very clean, well detailed and true to the photos on the website.
The staff were very helpful, friendly and there was no pressure to make a purchase.
I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone, and would gladly do business with them again.

Make sure you have a 3rd party do a through inspection prior to purchasing anything from these guys. They do not stand behind the cars they sell. 1 month post purchase and I have had to put $2500 into a vehicle with only 62,000 miles.

I just bought a Jetta from these guys. Terry was fantastic to work with and I left feeling like I got a great car and a great deal. Which I did. I called him a week before and told him what I was looking for and he found it for me. I feel he was fair with my trade and the price of the car I purchased. As far as other reviews about them not giving you the amount for your trade that they said they would over the phone. No car dealer anywhere is going to commit to a price over the phone. Also they do sell manufacturer buybacks but the cars that are buybacks are clearly listed on their website. They also could be a good deal since VW and Audi refurbish them and provide an extra warranty with. Maybe not for everyone but the prices are lower. Bottom line do your homework on what you want to buy and then go see Terry at European Autohaus.

BUYER BEWARE The majority of the cars they sell are Manufacturer Buybacks which are synonymous with Lemon Law Buybacks. Do NOT let them talk you into purchasing one of these. It will appear when you title the vehicle and once you have a "branded" title the value of the vehicle diminishes up to 75%. You will be unable to find any dealership to buy it or take it as a trade without losing thousands and thousands of dollars. BUYER BEWARE

I cannot speak highly enough about my latest purchase from European Autohaus! This is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from them and we could not be happier.

The sales staff was very professional and I felt that they had my family’s best interest at heart. They handled every step of the process for us. I will definitely be back for my next vehicle purchase!

I purchased a car from European Autohaus a few weeks ago and am extremely happy with the experience from start to finish. The sales team was great! They were very accommodating, and since I did not have a specific vehicle in mind, they took the time to get me into a vehicle that fits me and my needs. I am very happy with this purchase! European Autohaus and their team made me a customer for life!!

Bought my A6 from them and though it's been alright, it was only 4 years old at the time of purchase and found out shortly thereafter the check engine light had been removed. So much for their "full inspection and certification" of the cars. Also bought one for my sister that despite being presented with a "clean" carfax from the dealership came up as a salvage title with multiple previous accidents and was an absolute money pit starting 2 weeks after purchase.

I bought a 2005 Nissan Xterra,...

I bought a 2005 Nissan Xterra, my salesman was Rob. I signed an as-is, no warranty paper. He told me they sell all of their vehicles that way. I soon found out why. The very next morning on the way to work, the service engine soon light came on. I called them right away to find out if they would stand by it. Rob wouldn't even return my call. When I finally got ahold of him, he said they would take care of it. After about 2 weeks of me calling him without ever getting called back, he said they would fix it the next Monday. He said they would have a loner car for me at the service center. When I got there that morning, surprise!! no loner car. The guy there said he told Rob they didn't have one. Then after a couple hours, they called and said it would be about $240.00, I told them European Autohaus was paying for it, of course he didn't know anything about that. After he finally got ahold of Rob, and called me back, he said that they would cover it. After 1 week of driving it I noticed it had an exhaust leek. I took it to Muffler Man and they showed me that the catalytic converters were cracked at the flanges and were JB welded. I paid to have that fixed. 1 week later the service engine soon light came back on. I took it in to find out what was wrong this time, and it was the same problem as when I first bought it. I took it somewhere else to have it fixed. I would never buy another car from them or have their service center fix any thing!!!!

Oh my gosh. This was my first ...

Oh my gosh. This was my first time buying a car from a dealer and having to finance it. I had been to Best Buy Used Cars and a few other places during this whole process. Let me tell you, buying a car is excruciating! I hate having to look up all of the cars that I might have interest in and calling to see if they still have it. I sometimes just went for a drive to see if I saw something I liked.

Then I saw a 2006 Honda Civic @ European Autohaus. I called to see if they still had it (they did, since they just got it in). Lupe e-mailed to ask me if I wanted to come in on a Wednesday, and I decided to come in on Saturday. He and Mike were so nice. They weren't pushy salesmen, like all of the other dealerships have. Lupe made suggestions based on the cars I had previously shown interest in. I asked which one he would buy and, I believe, he gave me an honest answer.

Not to mention the price! I had checked out all kinds of cars on KBB dot com. This was listed @ $2,000 below SRP. It's a great car and I'm very happy with it.

Thank you so much Lupe and Mike!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE - makes my stomach turn

Last month I purchased a 2006 VW Passat Luxury Edition from them. When I purchased the vehicle I was told that I had to waive purchasing the additional Warranty because the bank would not allow it. Now twice within 30 days the car has broken down!! The first was a recall (coil packs) ok that can happen, but then my car breaks down again within 30 days and this time it is the steering column module and electric cooling fans...repair estimated at $1700.00 from an authorized VW Dealership. We called and emailed our Salesman Lupe. He responded with "the owner refuses to pay for the repairs." This is well within the Michigan 30 day Lemon Law. I am in contact with the BBB and possibly an attorney will soon enter the picture. When I picked up my car from the authorized VW dealership they told us that the blower motor has also failed. The authorized VW dealership felt so bad for us that they gave us a 10% discount off of the repair bill and we didn't even purchase the car from them. European Autohaus HORRIBLE HORRIBLE business practices. Totally unethical behavior. They say 1 bad review gets to to 25 people.....hmmmm I will make sure to get to 100 people or more to ensure no one else gets RIPPED OFF. On a side note I have purchased used cars throughout my life and have NEVER had any of my used cars break down within the first 30 days or even the 1st year!!

They do not stand behind what they sell!

I purchased what I thought was a very nice used Audi A4 2.0 Turbo with 44,000 miles on it. When I took it for my first test drive it was running a little ruff. Thomas the salesman assured me it was just because it sat on the lot for a little while with out being ran. So he told me that he would take it to there trusted mechanic at Euro Tech to do a diagnostic test. When I picked the car up the following day to drive home, my first ever Audi, Thomas told me that Euro Tech said everything was great, the diagnostic test was clear (no codes came up)! Just in case Thomas sold me the extended warranty to my dismay the following week I had parts going bad already. However none of the multiple problems were covered by this so called great warranty. On top of that Euro Tech had absolutely no documentation of working on the car. So I then proceeded to call Thomas at European Autohaus to see what he could do. When I questioned him on the topic of why Euro Tech had no work orders for any diagnostic testing, he told me that I just needed to trust him. Because when he says he does something he means it's been done. What a joke! Thomas basically told me that i needed to take his word on it. Come on really? Take a used car salesman's word on something..... I guess the joke is on me I have had to spend a grand on a car now that I have had only for four months. I will never support such a backwards business. What liars and cheats!!!
