        i think this is just a really great place to eat & had an overall awesome experience. the potato soup is to die for, and there's a delicious selection of desserts as well. the prices aren't bad, either. eat there... now!

        Dari Dip is a family owned and operated business serving Lafayette since 1953. Dari Dip is some place more than an ice cream store... Their seafood, rib-eyes, and ice cream offering are not to be missed. This long time restaurant is worth a visit for the vintage building and neon sign work. The food is traditional Southeast American in its offering--all prepared hot with generous portions. Service is friendly and attentive, with milkshakes so thick a spoon will stand up in them indefinitely if you turn the glass upside down.
