Don't buy from cross roads used cars I just spent a lot of money on a car I thought was nice first off after 2 days of driving the car the service engine light came on so mike the owner has computer equipment there to erase the light and make the car run ok for a couple days then he has your money because you won't know that the car has any problems because he and his mechanics will trick your computer in your car to run ok for about 2 days I spoke with Mike and he said he would look at it then I asked him about the cost of fixing it and he said get over it I'm not lying the guy is a scam do not buy save your tax money or hard earned money and don't waste it at this place you will be stuck with a vehicle with problems you didn't know because they trick computer codes and lights to stay off for two days they do not inspect anything on the vehicle the hide things if they do find them wrong I'm telling you don't waste your money at rip off cross roads

One of my best used car buying experiences ever. I had a long list of trucks to test drive two weeks ago. They were my last stop on my route. I almost didn't go after reading previous reviews. I'm sure glad I did. I bought my truck from them the next day and drove it home. I live 45 minutes away and by the time I got home, my abs light kept coming on. I called Cory up and we scheduled an appointment for them to look at it at my earliest convenience. Due to my schedule, they took a peek at it a week later and ordered the part no questions asked. Another week later again, due to my schedule, they fixed it and I rolled outta there 45 minutes later. Just goes to show ya, I gave em a chance to make it right, and they did. I'll be recommending the crew at Crossroads to all my family and friends. Thanks guys.

Bought my 2011 Chevrolet Aveo here. Was given a very fair price and have been satisfied with my purchase. This place sells quality at an inexpensive price. I will be back for my husband's new vehicle in a few short months

WARNING: Do not buy a car from CrossRoads Used Cars Inc, 608 W. Pearl St, Rt9, Tremont, IL 61568! Do not make the mistake that I did, do your research before buying from them. I bought a vehicle from them the evening of 10/14/13. I was buying a vehicle for my son, and was assured that the vehicle had been inspected and had no issues. I drove the vehicle 40 miles home. When I got home, one of the wheels was smoking from a frozen brake caliper. I had the brake fixed the next day, 2 days later on 10/17/13 the vehicle would not start when I left work. I had to have the vehicle towed to a shop. The fuel pump had quit working, and it needs a new belt tensioner and pulley. I have owned the vehicle for 3 days, and I have had to put more than $1000 dollars into it to keep it running. I realize that I bought the vehicle "As Is", but more than $1000 in 3 days is not acceptable when I was assured it was inspected and everything was fine. I called the owner, "Mike", he was very unfriendly and blamed me for taking the vehicle to a shop to have it repaired. He claimed he could have fixed the vehicle for $40. Sorry, after the headache I have had, and being lied to, you are not going to work on my vehicle. He was not willing to reimburse me for any of my repair expenses. If you buy from them, be willing to dump more money into the vehicle, it appears they work on them long enough to get them running to sell. You will regret buying the vehicle if you have to be out your hard earned money, and then be treated like crap when you call them. Terrible Customer Service! I will never do business with them again, and I will warn everyone I know to stay away from there.

DO NOT go there! the worst place ever! con artists. The father and son team seem so nice honest and trust worthy but you buy the car drive across the country and everything starts breaking on the car you spent all the money you have on! We told them we are moving and needed a reliable car. Gave them all the money we have. We thought if we tell them our situation they will for sure not screw us over that was not the case. The engine light was on so they said it was the oxygen censor they claimed they replaced the oxygen censor and the light came off for 2 days but guess what? big fat lie we get to California and had to replace it they claim the replaced the exhaust guess what? get here have to replace that and the catalytic converter. Had the car for just over a month and already spent over $1000 on it! we drained all of our savings and it is still not passing the smog test. when we got in there, there was a squirrel nest in there! and they claim they checked it and everything was fine that nest must have been there all winter! We thought it is a toyota so it must be good but not if you get it there! we have had such a horrible time with this vehicle so we wanted to warn anyone out there no matter how desperate you are don't go there, you will end up spending as much as you would have anywhere else minus all the trouble plus a warranty or something. They will also pull websites to convince you that this is the right website to estimate the price of the car our car is not worth half of what we paid according to every professional place we have taken it to. Save your money and your breath and take your business somewhere else.
