Liquid Adventures

I have been kayaking with Tom McEwan and Liquid Adventures for almost 9 years now. I participate in their Cheat training every year and have traveled with them to Mexico, Canada, the Upper & Lower Gauley, the Upper and Lower Youghiogheny, the New River, and locally on the Potomac. Tom and his dedicated staff are the best kayak instructors around. They keep class and trip size at a reasonable level to assure maximum learning potential and enjoyment. They encourage you to test your reasonable limits while carefully judging your abilities to assure that the students are not exceeding their skill level. Liquid Adventures offers a wide range of classes and trips for all abilities and age groups. More advanced students are encouraged to sharpen their creeking skills at the Dickerson whitewater course where they give classes every weekend. This school attracts a great group of people and I have developed numerous friendships while training with this school. Highly recommended!
