Grand Hotel

When you REALLY want to get away, head by ferry to Mackinac Island and stay at this historic hotel. Though it's a bit timeworn, it's still fancy, and the nightly dinner service is an experience not to be missed. (Think waiters in tailcoats attending to your every need). The island is a fun place to explore by foot or bike (no cars allowed).

Everyone should say here at least once. It truly is grand. The building is old and takes you back to a bygone era. Where else can you go to tea in the afternoon.

This hotel is a very luxurious and historic hotel that is a fine establishment. Its has seemed to not have been as good as it used to have been because of a new owner but it is still a respectable, high class hotel.
