I would like to thank the management for having Jeff in the fish department. I am a new fish owner and he has helped me greatly with many questions and has a great persona.

All I can say is WOW! I have never seen a wider selection of reptiles. I was impressed. I wanted to get all the reptiles there. They sell things that you wouldn't see at a regular pet store. I should know, I work at Petsmart. They allow their large birds a somewhat free roam. They're prices are about equal to Petsmart's prices which is good. You can become a member for a year for about $40-$50 or a lifetime for $200. They sell nutritious foods for cats and dogs. They also sell pond equipment for outdoor koi ponds. They have a Veterinarian in the store now also. They can also teach you basic knowledge about your pet. Next time I decide to get a reptile I'm getting it here. Wide selections. Their guppy's are in amazing shape but you have to buy them in pairs. They take great care of all their animals. I'm impressed by how clean the fish tanks are. Go see for yourself.

I have a boxer puppy from All Pets Club in Wallingford and he is perfect! They have a great selection of puppies and they keep them in huge play pens - not in individual cages. He is the love of my life and in perfect health! Good luck to anyone looking to purchase a pet here - make sure you bring them to the vet right away and get them checked for everything

I have been very pleased with the prices in All Pets Club, in both their wallingford and branford locations, they are either equal to or less than PETCO prices. I have also had very professional and knowledgeable staff when it comes to assistance in choosing a healthy dog food that isnt top of the line expensive. My dog is a picky eater and a rescue dog and the staff has been very helpful. They even let you return the bag of food for a refund if there is more than 3/4s left and you have a receipt, similar to PETCO policy and helpful if you have a finicky eater in then home.

We were referred to All Pets Club twice by complete strangers on seperate occasions. We went to both Branford and Wallingford, but we ended up purchasing our puppy in Wallingford. He came with papers that show what breeder he is from and I did some research online to find that the breeder is accredited and highly regarded. We had a great experience with All Pets Club and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. It's scary buying a pet, especially from a pet store, and even more so when you don't know what to look for. But buying a pet happens so suddenly -- you know you've found the one and you end up taking him home. Be sure to educate yourself on warning signs. Make sure the puppy doesn't have a cold. Touch his nose. Make sure his gums aren't white or yellow. Check for foul breath. Make sure his behind isn't crusty or enflamed. Check his vet records when they make them available. Ask questions. Look for the Healthy Dog section on American Kennel Club's web site. If you're in doubt, you can always put down a deposit and come back in a few days to check him again. I will say that All Pets Club is different from other pet stores. It seems that they've done anything a pet store could do to rise above the bad name that pet stores have. In the end, I guess that doesn't matter as much as where the puppies came from, but I just can't imagine a store getting any better than this. If you do buy from them, buy with the confidence that you are at least buying from the best possible pet store and could only do better with a very reputable breeder who just happens to have an available puppy of your desire. The advantage of buying at a pet store is that you get a guarantee -- not like you would ever want to use one, because who wants to return a pet for a refund? Coverage for major conditions is better than no coverage at all. A cold spreads quickly between dogs just like it does children. Most of the time it's not a big deal. I hope this review helped. I dont think that anyone should buy a dog from a petstore. the dog may be health for any sickness but the fact that all day long random people with kids go in and play what if we had this puppy. I do have to say that All Pets club has a great setup for the dogs. they have more room to romp around and get to play with other puppies. instead of waiting for a new family in a metal cage by them-selves. The first time i went i was excited to see how much stuff they have. everyone that worked there was helpfull to the comments of neg. talk about it well im sure that the people that worked there werent doing their jobs and was let go And im sure its hard to run any kind of store. Im not moved in anyway what you all are saying about the place my daughter had fun looking at all the animals and stuff for them. we were their for 3 hours. and i didnt see anything that i didnt like. Everyone should just walk in and see for you selves. its a amazing petstore and im going there again in a few days for a salt water set up.

My sister had purchased two dogs from the Wallingford location and was very happy. So it's exactly where we went to get our Pup. We just wanted a family pet and not a pedigree dog. The minute we laid eyes on our Corgi we fell in love with him. He is a gorgeous dog, and I have nothing but good things to say about the quality animal we received. When buying him he did have worms, which our vet said was completely normal for any puppies. But our vet said she was completely impressed with the puppy, seeing as she had heard horror stories from All Pets. I did call the store to let them know about our dogs worms, and the manager seem concerned, and even offered to take the puppy back. I was highly impressed. When I went to have my little guy neutered, turns out it was going to be a more intense procedure than just a simple snip. I had read about this being in the warranty, and after my little guys procedure I brought the copy of the receipt to the manager and they cut me a check to pay for the more expensive procedure! I am completely satisfied with All Pets and would not hesitate to purchase another dog from them again.

I always have good experience every time I come, I got some fish from them almost 2 years ago and they are still doing good, happy and healthy, they have the best fish selection, and pet food selection too, love coming here

I love this place! I had been feeding my cats (apparently) garbage food until I came here! My cats don't throw up at all (which was an everyday occurrence prior). The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The cat whisperers!

I just want to say what a pleasant dog buying experience I had last night. Jesse helped me right down to loading my purchases into my car. I felt very comfortable and was so glad he knew so much about what I would need for my new pup. I am looking forward to being a member of your club and bringing home my new puppy...Yeller. thanks Jesse and all those who helped me!!

The best pet chain store I have been to so far. Only one I know of in CT that has an outdoor pond and it is gorgeous. I have purchased fish, pond equipment, cat treats and accessories, and a fish tank from this particular location. Things I have seen, but did not purchase. Reptiles - with food and accessories, birds - with food and accessories, hamster/gerbil/guinea pig - with food and accessories, and I believe they also had ferrets with ferret accessories, but I do not recall seeing them last time I went in so I will have to update that one. They have a layaway service for the more expensive items which is extremely convenient if you need to borrow a van or truck to transport a fish tank or cat rise. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If you ask someone something and they are unsure, they contact a fellow employee who would know. Prices are a bit higher than other chains, but not enough to take a star off and certainly not enough to complain about (a dollar or two more than other retailers). If you want quality service, expect to pay a bit more. If you have kids or are an animal lover, they let you play with the dogs/cats in a designated area. I often see a grooming station for dogs outside near the pond, but I don't know anything about it. The club card can save you some cash if you visit weekly, but for someone who goes there on special trips, I found it to be a loss more than a gain. At a yearly fee (around 50 bucks I think), it could save you tons off of a big aquarium fish tank or a few larger fish, but if you just purchase cat treats and filters every year, I do not see a gain. The parking lot is massive being connected with about 12 other stores in the plaza. It has 2 entrances and both are located not too far from lights so getting in isn't bad, but getting out can be tricky during rush our with everyone trying to make the lights. Some of the stuff I purchase is seasonal so I call in around spring and they have no problem checking to see if the item is in stock. They sometimes even give me an ETA on when to call back. If you are curious and do not want to make the drive, call in ahead. This is one of my go to places for pond plants and an occasional Koi. If you have a pet, check it out.

I love this place!! My experiences with the Wallingford location have been nothing but stellar! I actually have 2 dogs from All Pets...my first a cockpoo named Cuddles who turned 15 in June and a cairnpoo named Dallas who turned 11 in July. Great dogs...healthy from the start..no problems whatsoever. The staff is wonderful also....very friendly, helpful and engaging! I would recommend everyone to stop in for a visit!

I bought a hedgehog from the Wallingford location. I just wanted to say how much of a help Joe was. He helped me pick out the nicest hedgehog and explained the care it will require.

We Love our Puppy: Our Puppy was purchased at the All Pets Club in July. We had a good experience our puppy is healthy and socialized making his adjustment to our home easy and enjoyable. The puppy was easy to "potty train" and is very intellegent.
The pet dept. manager was very informative in regards to the different types of dog food available and what the differences were in the ingredients listed.
