Shady Rest is a farmhouse that was built in 1909 and recently transformed into a cozy bed and breakfast. It sits on just under 2 shady acres and is located about 5 minutes from the village of Lexington, and about 10 minutes from the city of Port Sanilac. Our back deck is great for bird watching, or enjoy a game of croquet, badminton or one of our other outdoor games on the back lawn. There are also the local beaches, shopping, and plenty of sightseeing. Our 24 hour room is a comfortable space where one can get snacks, baked goods and refreshments. We also have a diverse assortment of movies, books, games and puzzles to keep you entertained.
