- We have been in business since 1983, we moved to our new location in November of 1999. We sell guns, ammo, fishing supplies, scopes, binoculars, and rangefinders. We are one of the largest Archery Proshops in Southern West Virginia. We sell bows by Matthews, Mission, Genisis, Bowtech, Diamond, and Parker. We also sell crossbows by: Parker, Stryker, Carbonexpress. and Mission. We have a full line of bow accessories. We sell arrows by Beeman, Easton, and Carbonexpress. We also have an indoor testing range so you can try out any bow you like. We have no employees so you deal directly with the owners and I personally do all the bow work. We welcome after hour appointments if your work is not flexible with our store hours. SERVICE IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! Stop by and see our dog, Maggi Rose she is always here!

Provided by SuperpagesI don't know what shop all the previous reviewers went too, but I think it was somewhere other than Cardinal. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the owner/operators, Mike and Lisa. I bought my first Mathews bow from them back in 2005. I have been back many times for arrows, accessories, and maintenance and they have ALWAYS treated me well and been very informative and helpful in making decisions on accessorizing my bow. I recently bought a used Mathews for my daughter from somewhere else and took it to them to have it re-strung and tuned up. I didn't buy it from them, but they are working on it right now - No Hassles, or grief what-so-ever. I can't comment on the quality of other archery pro shops, but if you want your bow, set up and tuned up right, by a professional that knows what he is doing, go see Mike at Cardinal!

Provided by SuperpagesSince when can a sporting goods shop become a pawn shop? You can find a good old fashioned sporting goods shop anymore. Now, they have used, overpriced guns and hunting supplies that they have scammed some poor slob out of who never came back for their merchandise. Then, they try to sell the junk as new and at top prices. I have given up looking for local sporting goods. This is one of the most unfriendly stores I've ever been in.

Provided by SuperpagesI've dealt with this company in the past and I can't say that I was unhappy with my previous purchases. However, since the store has gotten larger, they've lost the "personal" touch that they used to have with customers. We've literally stood in their store and the salesman wouldn't even ask us if we needed help. We would just leave and spend our money somewhere else. It was their $400 loss.

Provided by SuperpagesHigh prices and a bad attitude seem to be the norm for this shop. I've been in the store more than once and heard the owner and his wife bad mouthing customers after they left. Shop around and you can get better prices and much better customer service
