- Bayernhof MuseumSituated high on a hill overlooking the Highland Park lock and dam on the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bayernhof was built by Charles B. Brown III.Almost the entire south side is glass affording everyone fantastic views of the Highland Park section of Pittsburgh, to Oakland and downtown. A large collection of music boxes and other interesting automatic musical instruments are just a few of the many items on display at the museum. Admission is only $10.Be sure to check out the "Collection" on this web site, also take a photographic tour by selecting the "Tour" button on the left. The "News Page" changes frequently as the work inside the museum continues and there is a special section devoted to "The History" of this house and museum.
