This place is terrible. I had been taking my dogs there for years but because my Golden Doodle is older and cannot stand for an hour without a break they will no longer cut her hair. They were rude about it. Not accommodating to older dogs at all. I hope when they get old someone treats them like they treat my older dog. Don't use them. They are not caring people.

I went in with my 10 year old daughter to buy a goldfish. She picked out a $3 goldfish. When we asked to purchase it we were met with a "how big is your fish tank " question. I was told I could not purchase the fish unless I had a 29 gallon tank. A 29 gallon tank for a single $3 goldfish?! At this point we were joined by a second associate who reiterated that they would NOT sell me the fish as "they want their gold fish to be happy." This is a goldfish that is currently being kept in a small 5-7 gallon tank at your store with maybe 10 other fish. Needless to say I left with a crying little girl and went directly to another pet store and bought my daughter a goldfish. I will never buy an animal at this store again. I have returned to the store in order to buy crickets for my other animals and this poor fish remained in that very small tank, never being purchased while our new fish has been swimming happily around in our 10 gallon tank ever since. Their service is deplorable.

I have never had issues with Petsmart before, but today I took my black lab/husky mix in for a deshedding bath and a brushing that would remove the loose fur. This dog is the biggest baby in the world. He was abused when he was younger until I found him about 3 years ago. The appointment was for 3:00pm, I showed up at 2:40 and left him with the associates. They asked all the normal questions including if he was aggressive, I told them he was a baby and would be more afraid than anything.

We were told that he would be ready around 6. I thought 3 hours was a long time, but I knew he had a lot of fur to go through. My husband went to pick him up at 6 and around 6:30 he was home. As soon as my dog walked through the door I knew something was wrong. He looked exactly the same, there was only 1 spot on his hip that actually looked brushed. He was timid and ran straight into my legs to be cuddled. I looked at my husband and he told me they had clipped his claws and gone too short. One of his claws was cut to the point it was pouring blood. Not just a little nick were it just starts to bleed, but enough blood to stain his foot. So, not only did I pay $54.00 for my dog to be tortured and away from his home for 4 hours, I also paid for him to look exactly the same and shed just as bad. Also, no one told us about his claw being clipped at all. I honestly don't think I can go back there and trust the with my dog.

Don't bring your dog here. On...

Don't bring your dog here. One groomer was yelling at a dog and being really mean to one on the table. She even said she was surprised the dog isn't choking as tight as she had the leash. The other groomer stated the dog was not being good and the groomer handling him was frustrated. No excuse, then she should not do the dog until she is calmed down herself. No need to be mean to an animal that doesn't understand or is just scared. I would never recommend this place. The only reason they got a one star is because they were polite to me.
