33 Aquarium

I've been going to 33 Aquarium for many years. I've enjoyed the variety of fish they have to offer. However my recent visits have not been as pleasurable. The staff now working there can not answer a single one of my questions. It was frustrating to be in a store supposedly specializing in aquatics however cannot answer a single aquarium question. I think this store hit it's prime many years ago and is barely holding on these days.

Well I've purchased fish here twice for my 37 gallon, the first time it was several Swordtails and within a week all of them died along with some of my long established fish. The 2nd time I bough lemon tetras and again they all died within a week, and this time I lost (2) 4 yr. old Angelfish that were over 6" long. The store seems decent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but I will not go back. I might of just had bad luck, because my water parameters are always perfect, I do weekly water changes, and my tank is never over-stocked.

The cleanest fish tanks of any store I have been too, great prices, easy to find, very friendly and nice, I do recommend calling to see if they have the fish you are looking for in stock, if you live a good distance away.

33 Aquarium is one of the oldest family owned fish only stores in fortwayne. The selection of fish is great. I have found that if you cannot find the fish you are after the staff is more than willing to look over the order sheets to see if they can get your request.they have tested my water and made my 8 tanks at home look wonderful . in closing i say that 33 Aquarium is the best fish only store in town . Note the tanks are scratched on some, but im sure thats due to the regular cleaning. like yours at home has no sctratches on it.

At Aquariums 33 I have only received the best quality fish in the area. The people who work there are very helpful with whatever questions I have. They are a sixty mi. round trip for me to get to and they are my favorite fish store to go to. They get a good selection of fish,and I have spent hundreds of dollars there. I call them with questions occasionally, and they will even help you over the phone. Their catfish selection is better than any petstore I have ever been to. I have a barb and catfish tank and I am very happy with the quality of my last two fish purchased. I bought two more rare plecos gold spotted plecostomus they are flurishing in my 31.5 gallon tank. It may be a little bit of a drive, but it is completely worth it to know that you are getting the highest quality of fish and supplies. Make sure you check out the coolest catfish ever, MANWELL the South American Redtail Catfish. He is so big he doesn't fit in a traditional tank

33 aquarium is one of the worse fish stores in ft wayne. bad location, bad selection of fish, and bad management. tanks that the fish are in are scratched up and you can hardly make out what the fish are and most of them are sick due to lack of water quality. the building is so old it should be torn down. salt water selection is only 7 tanks that are 55g and smaller. most of the tanks for salt water fish are empty due to the fish always dying. just dont even waste your time or money or gas on this fish store. every fish i bought from there has died or got sick after 48 hrs of buying it.
