Roy's Aquarium

My fish that I have gotten from Roy's are more vibrant and beautiful than those I see in PetSmart or especially Walmart. Roy's fish have so much personality, and the owner and employees are friendlier than my neighbors. I also got a heater for my fish and I noticed that all the heaters were the same price! Just $11.99. I couldn't even find something that cheap for fish in WALMART!!!! I was shocked. My experience there is amazing. The smell some talk about is just the natural smell of the bedding for the snakes and other things. Shoot, it IS the snakes and such that the natural smell is from. It's the smell of au naturale animals at their best. The selection I great too. There's fish of all kinds of waters, fresh, salt, and i believe theres brackish babies too. the bird selection is just as well, theres parakeets nd finches nd a giant parrot who will greet you friendily, most the birds will greet you with a hello of their own. those that talk actually tell you hello, goodbye, and will sometimes sing for you. now, on the other hand from the graceful fish to the beautiful birds is the reptiles. they will lounge and lither and crawl. roys ven has feeder mice among other things like spiders and rats and crikets. I will continue to shop there. I've been a regular there ever since I found Roy's. best place I've bought food and such for my pets. I recommend. They even take trades! ^_^

Roy's is truly a great place to buy all your pet products.The owner knows so much about all his animals and is always willing to answer any questions.I quit shopping at Pet Smart after they gave me a product that almost killed one of my birds.I know when I ask Roy a question he will have an answer that is correct and helpful.I do all my pet shopping here because they are local and because these folks care about the animals ,not just making money.If Pet Smart wants to keep there name then they need to hire people who have some knowledge about pets.This shop isn't as glitzy as Pet Smart but it is by far smarter,friendlier,and cheaper....

roys is the only place i would go to get my hamster and ferret supplies! the products are great and the people are so friendly. all the pets i have gotten there have lived long healthy lives. the building itself is a little old but is well kept up with and clean and the products last long and the prices are cheap i wuld recomend roys to any one who is looking to buy a small a pet such as a hamster or fish or for any one who is looking for great inexpinsive products! =)

Other than the fact that they are the only pet store in Beaufort it is fairly cheap and the customer service is exceptional, but what concerns me is the very strong smell when you enter the doors. This makes me wonder if there is any problems with the pets that are sold there...

They have great customer service..I would not shop anywhere else for any of my reptile/dog supplies. They also have a wide variety of options on everything from dog collars to exoctic fish birds and reptiles! I would def. recomend this pet store to everyone!
