Founded in 1989, Tarara Winery's main vineyards are Nevaeh, Tranquility, Honah Lee, Mountainview and Indian Springs. Located in Leesburg, Va., it offers an array of products, including varietal and blends, vineyard designates and commonwealth collection among others. The company's products are available in various restaurants, wine shops and grocery stores, and hotels and resorts. Tarara Winery's wines are made in a 6000 square foot cave. Its supporters include Leesburg Vintner, The Wine Kitchen, Fireworks Pizza and Lansdowne Resort.

2015 Bethany Ridge White
This is a new single vineyard designation for Tarara and one we are extremely excited about. The fruit is concentrated and exotic with loads of papaya, persimmon and blood orange notes. The palate is caressing and seamless.

Our flagship white from our estate Nevaeh Vineyard. Ripe and concentrated character, fresh with mineral tones from lying on high portions of limestone. An abundantly ripe wine with perfectly balanced acidity holding it together and giving 4-7 years ageability.

Tranquility 2014
Dark crimson with huge aromatics, ranging from massively ripe fruit like fig, to savory herbal and meaty tones, to the dominant cassis & blackberry notes. The palate is refined but powerful, with youthful but harmonious tannins balanced with a great streak of acidity holding all the fruit together along with a nice smoky undertone.

A lovely complex blend of plum fruit meeting red and black berry notes combined with pencil lead and meaty tones. This is all about showing the classic Nevaeh blend and never overpowering the minerality and depth of some of the older vines Merlot and Cabernet Franc on the Hill block.

Muscat 2013
A just off-dry version showing what this grape can do when taken seriously. Hugely aromatic. Washington State grown fruit made here in Virginia - These Muscat grapes from Columbia Valley were selected because with all the rage about Muscat these days we felt like playing. We wanted to put our own spin on the variety and since we don't grow it this was our chance. This is not what is thought of as Moscato. Dry, floral, wildly aromatic wine with delicate acidity and fresh character.
