Great Store! Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. All sizes of fish and corals. Unbelievable selection.Wide selection of dry goods and frozen foods. Nice Decorations. Tanks and stands of all sizes in stockall the time. I always visit Aquatropics when I am in Gainesville. They ask you lots of questions to helpyou make the right selection. Test your water for free. I like to work with Mike and Matias. They have newfish every Tuesday. Matias will hand select your fish for you upon request.

I love this store. I shop there all the time. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have had problems in my aquarium in the past and they helped me solve it. They got to the root of my problem, I couldn't have saved my fish without their help.I keep freshwater fish and always look at their saltwater fish and corals. One day, I'll set one of those up and know I can rely on them to help me.Aquatropics is a great store. Go visit them. You'll love their store, just like I do!!!

Great selection of fish. Can't believe their selection of corals. Mike is extremely knowledgeable. I can always get the products I need there for reasonable prices. Great place to shop!

Auquatropics has an extensive choice/variety of beautiful fish and supplies; however, their fish frequently seem to be infected. They also need to add their hours of operation to their page because I can never seem to have anyone answer the phone.

This place has some awesome species that I can't find anywhere else. However... their stock is consistently infected with ich. A few sick fish are normal- you'll see that in any pet store you step into. But in this store, about 25-50% of the fish in each tank are contaminated. I've been in there numerous times, so hopeful to buy some ram cichlids, and I've always walked out empty-handed. I can't bring myself to buy the fish, when they and their buddies are suffering with ich and dropsy and other unpleasantness. The last thing I want is to spread disease to my healthy fish at home.I'll give it two stars for its wide selection, but personally, I doubt I will ever purchase fish from that store.

Every time I have gone to this store I encounter friendly knowledgeable sales people with no pressure to buy. I made many trips into this store to research before I committed to buy. Thanks!
