Great Business. Great Selection. No fish dies from here that I buy. Sounds a lot like Neglection . Also I'm seeing all of these Comments crying about Service. A Closed Mouth doesn't get fed. Nobody is a mind reader and can just automatically can tell when you need help. Smdh

I come out from Stockton at least once a year. I always find a nice selection of FW fish. The staff is always nice to me. Its a big store so you may have to wait your turn to get service.

I am trying to get a quote for a starfire glass aquarium and ask me how much are you willing to spend? I told him how much it will cost me for the size I provided? But his response was I don't want to waste time. It looks like he was a car salesman.

Can I give them no stars? Their stock of everything is sick. I tried them for freshwater and their stock kept dying (insisting it was my fault) when I have not had any freshwater fish die from any other store (aggression aside). I even have tetras that I wish would die because I've had them 6 years too long! Next their coral, it is full of parasites and worse than that their SPS (aside from easy species like montis and birds nest) will die within days of buying them.

All these people do is take TERRIBLE care of their livestock and then blame the customer for their deaths. This is where fish and invertebrates go to die, don't support their business unless you're looking for an overpriced carcass.

So-So

This store has some really nice stuff but their customer service is non-existent. Unless of course one of the sales people knows you by name. I waited for over 30 minutes trying to get some one to get me a price on a coral. I even went up to the register and was told that "there's someone back there". I found a sales person with a hose in fresh water and that person said the same thing. When I finally found the guy that was "back there" I waited behind several other people and was pretty much "next in line" until another customer walked up and called the sales guy by name and was greeted by name back and next thing I knew the known customer was having his corals bagged. He hadn't been there for 2 minutes before he was being helped. I finally ended up getting helped by someone that didn't work in that area and bought 2 mushroom corals for my softy tank. All the other corals I asked about he either didn't know the price or they were "not for sale". 1 was green in their tank, the other was a nice blue/green/purple color. I got them home and acclimated them to my quarantine tank and glad that I quarantined them. As soon as the lights went on I noticed all these spots starting to move on the mushrooms. Within 30 minutes they were covered in flatworms. I dipped them in Exit and they came off but there must have been 40 flatworms on 2 small mushroom rocks. I run a 20k with actinics on my quarantine tank. The mushrooms in the store were gorgeous but even under fairly blue lighting the green shroom in the store was brown in my tank and the blue/green/purple was just another plain blue shroom. But if you just have the actinics on they look just like they did in the store.

This store does have some really nice stuff both product and livestock. It's a nice place to look but if you want to buy something or ask a question you probably need to bring a lunch. I have been there 5 or 6 times and the service has been the same each time. And make sure you dip and quarantine anything you do buy.

WOST PLACE TO BUY

WORST place to buy. If you use credit/debit for payment and you dont monitor it, They will rip you off by getting double charges. They didnt even care for costumer. They only want is get a sales. The staff/cashier are un-knowlegdeable. They dont even know what they are selling. They had no basic idea how the products work (too lazy to read).

They even told me to write in their company so i can reimburse the overcharges, They didn't get the letter for 10 days notice. The post office send them 3 notices and no response from them.

DONT BUY ON THIS STORE !!!

Sick Tropheus

If you raise Tropheus, this business is not the place to get them. Sickly tanks, poor return policy.
