I've seen some tears-falling-down-my-face hilarious shows here and some improv shows that were pretty lackluster. It can be hit-or-miss that way, but the price is right, and it's good to support local talent.

Great Comedy Venue

UCB always has the funniest comedy shows at the cheapest prices. The theatre showcases the best talent in improv, sketch, and standup. Their shows are also about the cheapest night out in LA. Most tickets run around $5 to $8. Get to shows at least half an hour early or you might end up with less than ideal seating.
