Overall
Nice Zoo

We have been members for a while and have visited the zoo many, many times. It is a nice zoo, but is too spread out to take in in one day -- especially if you have children.

Overall
could be a lot better

I think KC could have a wonderful zoo. I have never been impressed with our zoo. I have been to several zoos around the country tha put ours to shame. We have a terrible cat exibit. Very Very small cages. They need to expand this and have tigers. The very long walk to the African exibit is very tiring. If you take the trolly you only get a glimps of the elephants. We're always ready to go home after an hour. They need to look at the zoos around the country (St. Louis, New Orleans etc...) to get an idea of how a zoo should look like.
