beware!

These people lie. Get different stories from the employees and manager "Kyle". Big pricing change then rude when asked, just told I can "return if I don't like the increase" Very poor customer service.

Incredible Pets sold me a DEFECTIVE FERRET CAGE that my ferret was able to break out of within 5 days. I went to exchange the cage for another one, but was given the run around since everyone with decision making power at the store was out of town. After having one of the clerks call the manager directly, the store initially would only give me store credit. The big problem was...



ALL BUT ONE OF THEIR CAGES SHOWED SIMILAR DEFECTS. Almost all of their ferret cages have bars that are soldered from the inside. An inquisitive ferret will often start pulling on the bars which will lead to them prying them off one by one if allowed. After pointing out these defects to the clerks and the manager via the phone, I initially wanted to purchase the most expensive cage so my ferrets wouldn't escape. However, they were charging $230 for the Feisty Ferret home. which you can get for $130 dollars on amazon prime with FREE shipping (http://amzn.to/1w2oTNU)!



Unfortunately for me, I was without a home for my ferret and needed a cage that day. I offered to pay $200 for the cage since I had already purchased a package with a defective cage for them and had to drive an hour out of the way to return it. The $30 discount is a 13% discount and still $70 dollars more than the same cage online by the way. After spending two hours there trying to work with Incredible Pets on getting a suitable exchange, I was finally able to get them to give me a cash exchange, which I promptly spent at Pet Supermarket. For $230 I was able to buy the Ferret Nation Cage (http://amzn.to/VAtS7D) which is a much better product than the Feisty Ferret at Incredible Pets.



Oh and the clerk tried to make me feel better about them ripping me off by giving me Papaya treats for my ferrets. It just goes to show that they don't educate their clerks or really know what ferrets eat their. They're carnivores. They should only eat animal proteins, and can be sickened by complex carbohydrates found in fruits. It just goes to show that Incredible Pet's reputation in the area isn't that deserved.



Lesson Learned: Go to Pet Supermarket or Petco if you're in the Melbourne area, or order online from Amazon Prime if you're able to wait. I was able to get a much better products, and realized the package I got from Incredible Pets was low quality compared to what I could have bought at Pets Supermarket or Amazon.

Overall

I almost wasn't going to say anything... but then after visiting your FB page and seeing the way you manage your FB page (with no response to customer engagement) is exactly the way you manage inside your store. Do you see how many comments and messages on your page you have that you dont even acknowledge? Why do you even have a FB page? And inside the store? It is INCREDIBLE alright... downright incredibly bad service. I've never seen anything like it in my life! 5 teenage employees all standing around in a circle chatting it up, while TONS of customers are waiting for help, asking for help, and being ignored, getting eyes rolled at them, etc. There are dead fish floating in the tanks, the cashier girl doesnt even acknowledge people that speak to her... the ONE GUY who's 'allowed to sell fish' in the whole place does everything BUT stay in the fish section... I saw tons of customers walk out, including us, even when we mentioned that we were leaving because they ignored us, we got sucking of teeth and attitude. Lord only knows how much money you lose DAILY because of poor management and poor work ethic. I didnt see any manager in sight, just a bunch of kids having a blast and ignoring customers. Now I know the REASON why you have so many posters up on the wall about people who have SHOPLIFTED from your store... I guarantee they took the fish, the turtles, and everything else because they stood around forever and never got help, so they helped themselves. Absolutely incredible! There's a clear lack of leadership here, no doubt about it.

They are very misleading when they are selling packages!!!! They down right lie to you and tell you things are included when they are not!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE things they say are included in your package are not you have to pay for them!!! Amazed me that even the owner did not want to make it right!!!!!!

My daughter just got a job and works only a few hours a week. She decided to get her cousin a gift of turtles. Two hours later my daughter returned as her cousin could not have the turtles. The store would only take the turtles as a donation - they would not give her the money back not even store credit. And this is a store that my family has frequented for many years. Not any more - they make have taken my daughters $30 dollars but they lost hundreds in my business, my families and everyone we talk to. Thats' Incredible math....

Bad customer service

Very cool pet store but bad customer service. Most employees are very friendly but the one who works in the front near the cash register tries to make you feel like its a privilege to shop there. Ask her where the koi food was and basically said it wasn't her job to know where it was and to ask the guy who works in that department. Later I had something to throw away and asked if she had somewhere to throw it away and the queen said yeah, you can throw it away there pointing to the trash can right beside her instead of just taking it from me. The behavior of one employee makes you not want to go there again. News to you miss, there are many other places I can take my business.

Either you love it or hate it....

Either you love it or hate it. The owners and Managers treat their employes Horrible. The two owners are Crazy jerks who milk their customers for every last cent. I had been a customer for 3years coming in 2-3 times a week. Had a few run ins with the fish boss kyle but the final straw was when i purchases a fresh water fish they didnt tell me they had been treating for ich. When i got it home and into my 120Gallon tank an outbreak occurred. I brought the fish back the day after still alive at the time and the underling employe told me tough luck in a nicer way then that. He told me to talk to kyle who was out that day. So i came back and confronted him and he said i was lying and that the would never sell a fish with ich. Even though his underling admitted to me they where treating for it with copper. I even went to the tank that the fish was in and a few of the other ones had symptoms. So i went even higher to Linda and she said she would handle it. Needless to say i never heard back and was avoided. I will be taking my business to Nahackys. Its a further drive but they make a good customer feel safe about buying fish. I hope one day they smarten up and fire kyle but i dont think that will happen

I purchased a floor model cage...

I purchased a floor model cage last night for my sugar glider , and when I began to set it up at home a found broken pieces of wire . I paid way too much for this cage . No HAPPY. Personnel was very helpful but I should have never taken a display or the price should have been much lower . I found everywhere else the same cage for no more than $ 120.00 that included shipping cost.
