Petco

My dog has been to Petco since he was about 4 months. Every time that we've been there, the employees are never around and I usually wait around at least 5 minutes to be helped. The last time my fianc went to pick up our dog from the groomers, he waited for a good 5-10 minutes to see be seen or helped. So he went in the back and grabbed our dog. 3 months later, my fianc lets it go and gives Petco another chance. He calls at 7pm(they close at 9pm) and asks if there were any openings and was out on hold for 5 minutes after he gave the caller his phone number. The manager picks up and just says "there are no openings" and hangs up. My fianc figured it was fishy so I called under a diff number and was told they had an opening. I was very heated at this moment so I called and spoke to the manager. The manager said, "to be blunt, your fianc isn't welcome here because he put other dogs in danger because he could have taken another one." Well, to be blunt, the manager could've been blunt and told him the truth rather than wasting both our time by saying there were no openings. That was a coward move. If the manager ran his business better and hire better employees, both our times wouldn't have been wasted. I have spent so much money buying food, collars, groomers, etc. I own a business and I will surely let others know how disrespected we were treated.

Went to petcoNewport News, Va today, Dakotah M. clipped my dogs nails. She was the best. Talked to Hector and made him less anxious. Last time I had his nails done at the Vet it took 3 people and a muzzle to trim his nails. Kudos to Dakotah the boxer whisperer. She deserves a raise.
