Aqualand Aquarium Centers

We had never been here before but decided to try it. It is really dim and dirty looking inside, but the guy cleaning tanks was nice and offered help if we needed it. We only needed a couple angels and corys (smaller tank) but looked thru their selection of fish too. They had a very wide selection, and i didnt see any sick looking specimens (on quick perusals at least) Their prices were also better than PetExpo, where we are from in Mankato. We got the fish we wanted at a great price, and he gave us a cooler bag free to travel the 2 hrs home in also and they are all doing great still two days later :) The only real negative comments I have are that the huge turtle needs a better space. Too big and nothing for it to do, and the tank in the back has too many large fish in it..its overpopulated and the oscar is turning grey, a sign of stress. Maybe they have quick turnaround on their stock, but alot of their tanks were pretty full. But I would definetely come here again as Petco, Petsmart and Walmart have nothing on the selection they have!

place is ok, but it's just very dark, their price is high too, I ask for some red cherry shrimps, since there was no price tag on the tank, when they found them for me (there was only 2-4 of them , I ask how much and it was like $7 each, ok so I told them that there are other store selling them for $4, and buy 4 for $14, they wouldn't make any attempt at getting my business, so I left...

My favorite place for fish and knowledge about them and their surroundings. Great friendly service and all of the employess know their stuff. Not a question they haven't been able to answer for me. Family owned and run. Huge selection of the coolest fish. Glad to have such a great place so nearby. I prefer to shop them rather than the chain stores to keep a "neighborhood friend" in business.

The employees at Aqualand LIES!!! They would say any thing for a sale. I bought a tank from them last week thinking that it would be a good buy. The employee there sad that, up till the point of sale, it was being used by them as a freshwater tank, and that it was in good condition. COMPLETE LIE. ###I had to clean it for 5 hours. The tank could not possibly be in use, I found three spiders, yes SPIDERS. Also there were two LEAKS I had to fix, even though Auqaland assured me that there's absolutely not leaks. He said that the tank was functional up till the time of the sale. LIES!!!! ###I called three times and explaining the problems, but they keep saying ALL SALES ARE FINAL, and wouldn't hear any of it. So Let this be a lesson to me and YOU. Go some where else, Wet World, Something Fishy, World of Fish, Saltwater Empire. They are all very close to Auqaland, most of them have better selection, and all of them have better service. Heck, even Petsmart and Petco are much much better.

We are so fortunate to have this place in our neighborhood. They have a wide selection of fish and supplies. Makes a fun outing with the kids. If you've ever wondered what this place is all about, stop in. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This store is jammed packed with everything you could want for your aquarium. Always helpful, great place.

Best fish store in the Twin Cities. Great service, great assortment, knowledgeable staff, everything you could need for your fish tanks. Nicely organized collection of freshwater fish, seem to really have nice gouramis and nice assortment of . Weak on the selection for some reason. Still, it's a great store, I visit about once a week.

Great service, great prices!

Ever sense finding this store, it's been really nice to return and get the service I so much enjoy. Compared to other stores, I find that the staff is very much more helpful then other stores if not the best I have received.I return because the price, quality and the selection is very good all the time and I never have to worry about the prices because the prices are low compared to the other stores.I come back to Aqualand Aquarium because I want to come back not because the other stores have to have a sale to get a customer to return.I consider this store my little Gold mine.
