Petco

I brought 2 of my dogs (shihtzu and lab) in for a bath and groom and was blown away by their service. The girls are very sweet, and don't treat you as of you are just another paycheck for them. One girl in particular (sadly I can't remember her name) was joking around and just putting me in a generally good mood! Will absolutely be going back. The only downside of my visit the price being slightly more than expected. Worth the groom and customer service though. Highly reccomend!

I was a groomer for 30 years and people don't give groomers enough credit, we spend hours working on your dog while its thrashing and trying to bite you at the same time trying not to cut the dog because your shaving or scissoring a moving target, and those scissors and blades aren't exactly dull they are very sharp its gets very scary, its an emotional roller coaster the whole time!! then you have some owner come in who thinks they know about grooming and is yelling at you, (you wouldn't like it if we came to your job telling you what to do, they are certified) ever sense i retired i have always gone to Petco in Apple Valley and they do an amazing job!! its nice it only takes them a few hours to bath and groom the dog. they check rabies vaccinations (which is required in Minnesota) Please be nicer to your dog groomer you don't know what they go through everyday!!

I brought my dog Gunner in to be groomed they did such a great job, I have been to other salons and they didn't treat my dog as great at petco in apple valley did, they made him look so hansome! I think he got an ego there . . . :-P. I will alway there!!

The girls here know what they are doing I brought my dog Nakita (huskey) to other salons before to have my dog shaved there at apple valley, they explained to me how it ruins the dogs under coat and that the undercoat is very important in keeping the dog warm in the winter and cool in the summer. And how it can make the hair crusty looking or it may not grow back at all, I checked with my vet to see if that was true and the vet even said that is true, it is so nice to be able to trust people! Its great to see they aren't after just money they care about our dogs well being!
