Grooming, 2 stars. The Groomer, 0 stars. Poor scheduling, record keeping. The Groomer was late both times for scheduled appointments. Told my two dogs would take 3-4 hours for grooming. Time was actually 6 hours. Clearly overbooked. Attitude was "so what." And while I was waiting the additional two hours in store, dog obedience classes had overtaken the retail floor space so shopping was impossible. Cancelled second appointment due to reoccurring theme. Have gone elsewhere.

I live 45 minutes out from this store in a community with no 24hr animal emergency clinic. My precious Merlin, a Pomeranian, is in the hospital there. For the second time in six days time no less.The vet called with both good and bad news. Merlin can come home tomorrow but he may be permanently brain damaged. I used the new "good as Frontline" product on him. It did not kill the eggs before they hatched. We were stuck in a war of fleas with 3 dogs and 3 cats to care for. One week after the "will NEVER be as good as product." I bathed my 7lb Merlin with Adams flea shampoo. Within twelve hours we were at the 24hr clininc with my Merlin in full seizures. Now we are looking at brain damage, time will tell. Merlin needs a standard Pomeranian cut but the veterinary groomer is booked. I called this Petco and asked if they would take him as a walkin and only cut the hair down so I have a better chance of getting on top of the fleas. The answer "bring him on in Ms Burley" Thank You.
