YMCA Trout Lodge is a year-round country-style resort perfect for family getaways/vacations, group events, family reunions, all-inclusive adult programs, and a professional conference center with team building opportunities for groups and corporate events. Nestled among 5,200 beautiful acres of the eastern Ozarks with a 360-acre lake, we are just 90 minutes south of St. Louis, and have been hosting families and groups for more than 50 years. What we offer is unlike any getaway experience. A stay at Trout Lodge means countless activities, accommodations (guest room or cabin-style), 3 buffet-style meals daily and most of all - a chance to reconnect with nature and with others. Our activities include high adventure (climbing towers, zip lines, high ropes course, alpine swing and more), in-the-water activities (seasonal) such as swimming, water slides, lake swing, Zorb balls. There are also many boating options including canoes, kayaks, jon boats, pontoon tours, and sailboats. There is a working Ranch on site, called the Triangle Y Ranch and includes horseback riding, pony rides, barn dance, cart ride, hayrides and overnight adventures. There are many sports activities such as tennis and volleyball, along with shooting sports - archery, riflery, shotgun and more. The Arts & Crafts center offers ceramics, tie dye, jewelry and candle-making, stepping stones, bird houses and many other projects. We also have themed weeks, weekends and even daily (during the summer), along with holiday celebrations. And there's more - just check out all of the activities on our website.
