They take great time and care with your pets. They have a 100% Satisfaction guarantee, so if you aren't happy at the time of pickup, they can fix it or it's free. They made me another appointment for 8 weeks (which is great because I have a new baby and get side-tracked). The staff has a lot of patience....there are dogs in there that are so untrained and they still get the job done. Some groomer's are better than others though, so I stick with the same person.

We took our Cavashon to get groomed for the first time ever. We did not even recognize him when they brought him out from the back when we picked him up. He looked pretty ugly. This is our first dog that requires true "grooming" so I did not complain, as I thought maybe this is how it was suppose to be done. Well, once we got him home, I realized there were several areas that were cut so crooked that it looked terrible, not professional. I had to trim him here and there to level areas off! After paying $45.00, I did not expect to have to fix what they did. Anyhow, they automatically rescheduled him for another appointment without consulting me. When they called to remind me of this appointment I did not make, I informed them of my experience, they just said, oh, sorry. I found that interesting since they have a huge sign that said you don't have to pay if you are not happy with the results. I won't go back there. They were not friendly or kind, makes you wonder how they were with my dog when I was not around!

Awesome

The groomers are well trained and friendly. i have never had a problem. sounds to me like the other reviewers are being overly sensitive. they have a job to do and are trained to follow corporate rules and procedures. if a nail is clipped too close or your dog is not cooperating it's most likely the owners fault for not getting it done often enough. like i said...i think they are great at what they do... it takes a lot of patience to do their job.

Bad grooming and pedicures

I stopped taking my dogs to Pet smart to be groomed as they didn't seem to care about hurting them and the hair cuts were awful, I should have been warned as I was watching one of the groomers apply the stuff to stop bleeding several times while she was doing the pedicure.

Bad Pedicure

I have a 3+ year old yellow lab mix with bad hips. She is timid and gentle. I took her to this Pet Smart to save a couple of bucks over getting her claws clipped at the Vet. I will NEVER do that again. The lady in charge had on a name tag of SONYA. She was straight forward, almost cold and formal asking for updated Rabies status on our dog. I told her the Vet's name and she called for the information before anyone was allowed to even touch my dog. I can understad this what with health issues so that didn't bother me. Then Sonya had another lady with a name plate at the back of the room go get another woman with no name tag to do my dog. My dog is 80 pounds so they secured her on the floor. This young woman with short black hair and combat boots started clipping and my dog cried out loud. The lady just continued on as if nothing had happened. She then started pulling my dog by her front upper legs to reposition her. Again my dog voiced her distress, rolled her lip and showed teeth. I told her that the dog has bad hips and asked that she be handled more gently. Miss combat boots ignored me to the point of not even looking at me. Sonya stepped up saying that I was not helping as I reached over the gate and petted my dog to calm her. At that point I was told I could not enter the gate and I said give me my dog and bill. I never allowed them anywhere near the second year old dog that was going to be done next.

My advise clip the claws yourself if you can or pay your Vet to do it. Stay the heck away from these so called groomers.

These people need a lot of human customer realtions training if they are going to do there deeds where the pet owner can observe the process.
