South Carolina Civil War Museum

What a fantastic collection! Just superb and so well represented. There are displayed artifacts and items from all aspects of the Civil War....from ladies dresses and bonnets, children's toys, soldiers' uniforms and equipment, artillery, projectiles, buckles and buttons, and musical instruments. Confederate and Union flags are protected and displayed prominently, as well as a very complete and grand collection of handguns, carbines, and rifles. There are swords of all types and tons of accoutrements, both army and naval. The collection is intense, immense, and more than complete. And there is no admission.
