This was an outstanding place to visit with a group. The staff was beyond friendly, and answered all of our questions while engaging with us as tourist. Would recommend to anyone, small and large families, as well as big tourist groups.
We be back to visit for sure.

Beautiful aquarium with a large selection of fish and other animals to observe. A nice location to explore when visiting Chattanooga and its sights.

What an adventure, this aquarium! The set-up is cool, walking from dark inside to lighter outside and back to the darker insides, and from all the way up down and down until you're outside again.

Great place for families. We love the butterflies. There are 2 buildings. One housing salt water and one for freshwater. A lot there. You want at least 2 to 3 hours to visit. We love it!must do in Chattanooga.

Great attraction! I love the penguins and jelly fish! How can one not like an aquarium that overlooks the TN RIver?

My favorite aquarium. More fun than the Shedd in Chicago.

Provided by SuperpagesA very entertaining, and yet informative day trip. While other Aquariums are just trying to "wow" the visitor, the Tennessee Aquarium is very authentic. They make sure not to mix fish from different areas of the world into one tank. There must be some 20 or more tanks to see, including the big Ocean tank with 8 foot sharks. We had a great day there.

The 3D effects, along with the explosive sound and gigantic screen almost made you feel that you were thousands of feet below the ocean's surface. Very escapist entertainment.
