The permanent collection chronicles the history of the lifesavers who risked their lives to save fellow mariners in peril along the rocky coast. Check out the lifesaving surf boat "Nantasket" on display in the "boat room" along with many artifacts, photos and charts. Book a tour of the museum with the peninsula's most informed docent. HLM boasts its famous, juried "Sea & Sky art exhibit in late winter, a 42-year tradition. Children's summer programs center on marine life, boat safety, and community building is an annual favorite.
