Customs House Museum and Cultural Center

The Customs House Museum is a great place to spend time interacting with the kids. It's mild, year round temperature makes it a necessity for my family in the summer when it's too hot outside. Our membership is well worth the price and then some! We get free admission when they are open and most of the public programs are free as well. My husband enjoys the exhibit openings which are exclusively for museum members now. Personally, I think he likes the food. We enjoy taking out of town visitors to see the wonderful art exhibits, model trains and the bubble room. Speaking of the bubble room, they are in the process of turning it into a bubble cave. Can't wait to go to that opening! Stop by and see what they have. I think you'll like it, but then go often, they are constantly changing exhibits to keep the children and even adults wondering what can be seen on the next visit. Don't forget to ask about a membership, you'll be glad you did!
