Founded by Presbyterians, The College of Wooster is an independent liberal arts college. Located in Wooster, Ohio, the college has been operational for more than 100 years. It enrolls more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually, and offers bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of courses. A National Collegiate Athletic Association division III college, it is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference and Ohio State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association. The college of Wooster provides various intercollegiate, intramural and recreational sports programs, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, golf, track and field, cross-country, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer, and softball. Its courses include liberal arts education, vocational and instrumental music, professional studies and teacher education, elementary and secondary education, reading and instructional technology, media management, English and mathematics, business management, economics, and world history. The college also offers majors in neuroscience, childhood education, mass communication, agricultural and industrial arts, and foreign languages and literatures.
