Overall

My son's experience during July 13th to July 24th was very bad. The worst part is the food, they say that they provide sports nutrition, but the reality is diferent. They give you limited food, and the schedule for eating is bad for a athlete like the people attending. The drills are all very similar, and they don't focus on fundamentals, they only focus on getting the drill over with. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The apartments are a mess. The coaches didn't care about the kids, they hardly would pay attention to them. The head coach Justin, promised various things to me, that he never did... for example, I am still waiting for a report about my sons performance, which honestly I dont thin I will ever get, my son started very shy, and he promised that he would talk to him, yet he never did, no activited where organized by the camp during the weekend. It seems that the Impact staff just care about the money... the worst part is that only 3 of the entire staff gets paid. I wouldn't write this If i wasn't so dissapointed about the camp and I know that you can find better academies for less money. DO NOT BELEIVE ANYTHING THAT APPEARS ON THE IMPACT WEB PAGE! THEY ARE ALL LIES.

Overall
They don't teach bball

This place should be shut down due to management, bad training, and suspect living situations. To start off main trainer Matt Hiller had left his previous job due to an incident involving sexual harassment, which he finds a joke. He uses derogatory language in front of kids, and has yelled f*gget in the direction of an 8th grader. The kids travel in a bus that requires a CDL in which interns have driven without proper license with kids inside. Living conditions are set up for 9 people in a 3 bedroom apartment, in a normal apartment complex which I highly doubt is legal because apartments usually are zoned to handle up to 5 people in a 3 bedroom apartment. The training is mainly the kids catching the ball doing a move in a then shooting. All drills are made up on the spot, that shows how much thought are put into their "player development". All other skills are put to the wayside, and they don't focus on making sure kids have proper fundamentals. They just care about making money, and will lie and say your kid has a shot in college just to convince you to go there.
