NO complaints, I purchased a bow there 4 years ago and brought a buddy in to buy a new MATTHEWS, they took the time to set him up and answer all his questions.

I went for some new arrows and they set me up and allowed me to shoot all i wanted!

THANKS JAMES! Appreciate the time!

Go during the day, during the week when they are not so busy!

I put a bow on layaway and I did not make monthly payments as I put down a 1/3 of the price of the bow so I was told I could pay it a few months at a time. I never received a call or reminder at all. I called to say I was ready to pick it up and I was told well it will be on the wall for sale until you come in. I said sir you're being rude to me as he was in further conversation and he continued to be rude. He didn't care if I bought from him or not. My son has spent over $3,000 in this store and they know I am his mother. I told them to credit my money to my son because I would never buy a bow or anything from someone so rude. My son feels the same way but feels that he has no where else to go for servicing due to distance. Well we will now drive the extra distance for service because if our money isn't good enough for some decent respect then we will never go back. James is rude as is most of the staff there!!

I visited Vans on a weekday night and met James, who was more than happy to give me a brief education on compound bows and show me the PSE bows that where in my price range. He said to come back and he'd have me shoot both to see what I liked. So, I came back on a Saturday and James showed me the bows again and then he pointed out the Hoyt PowerMax which I took a liking to....

On my 3rd visit to Vans in the evening I was welcomed by Dan, and he helped me learn some of the basics of setup and differences of the bows. I shot both bows.I learned more in those 15 minutes then I did all last year shooting at a target on my own. Hoyt was the bow for me. Dan followed up with a minor bow tune and giving me a discount on a release. Well, today I went in and Dan made himself available for over 45 minutes helping me sight the bow in.,However, for me, the education, the customer service and follow-through after the sale are critical. In my case Van Archery delivered.

horrible.....

got a brand new bow, took it in to get "set up". Got home shot it and something was wrong. Took to Fenton and found out the rest was too far to the left, cams were out of time, the loop was put on too high. Also took my daughters bow here to get restrung, and apparently they "misunderstood" me and just put the same string on and charged me 20.00 when I could've done that myself. This place used to be great but has gone downhill seek other options!!!!
