My kids love going here. The exhibits in the buildings are pretty cool, my youngest son loves dressing up like an eagle and sitting in their nest. The best part I think is the walking trails, and the view of the river.

Great place for an afternoon with the littles. Cute exhibits, educational, interactive.

For those a bit older rafting on the American River is angreat past time. You dock at the park next to Effie Yeaw.

Either way you go it is relaxing.....

This is a great place to take kids and learn about the nature around them. We went on a nice nature walk, explored all the different creatures, inspects and learned about California's environment. We also walked to the river and skipped some rocks.

Effie Yeaw is one of the best places to take your little one to experience nature in the Sacramento area! They have personnel that will talk to the patrons and explain all that goes on in our area. It is a must do if you are in the area!

Great place at Ancil Hoffman park. There is a trail out back that you can hike around. All kinds of animals and things to see inside the museum.
