Provided by SuperpagesFriendly and helpful greeter. Lots of art to look at. We were given a hand held device that told us about any artifact we were interested in.

If I could I would go as often as I could as it is one place you can get lost in the past. A must see Museum and well done.

It's a must see! I really enjoyed seeing and learning about all the artifacts. You should make time to visit the Museum even if you make a special trip from Tulsa!

Amazing Native American History Museum and a really fun Native American Flute Circle
If you plan on visiting this spectacular museum on the last Saturday of the month make sure you make time in the evening to enjoy local "Native American Style Flute" players sharing wonderful flute music. http://www.bnaflutecircle.net/
I would plan on visiting in the afternoon to checkout the artifacts at the museum. Leave yourself between 1 and 2 hours to go through the it and see everything. Then head out for an early dinner at any of the nearby restaurants. Finally make sure your back at the museum by 5:30pm when the Bentonville Flute Circle starts playing their Native American Flute. The playing goes until 7:30pm. Visitors can join in the music by playing flutes, leaning to play Native American Flute from any one of the circle members, or just picking up a drum or rattle.

This museum has a wide variety of artifacts and is a great way to spend an afternoon. I learned a little bit about pottery and weapons that were very interesting from the displays and the audio tour.
