Beware

I took in my pse evo dreamseasion for new cams and string. One month and two weeks later I got tired of their lies went to their store to pick up my bow and money as I paid in advance 245.00 the strings were nowhere close to complete and the cams were still no where to be found. The owner tried to make excuses about how they didn't screw up. Funny every time I showed up to ask what's up with the cams they always had a different story. So I went in, told them I want my bow and money back and the owner got hostile with me, he tried to grab my bow from my hand and was unsuccessful as he's a frail old man, (lucky I didn't beat on him) and didn't want to give me my money back. be careful dealing with these guys their are other archery stores I highly recommend the one in Fullerton!

At one time OC Archery in Foun...

At one time OC Archery in Fountain Valley was a good place but over the years customer care has diminshed to the point I will never return. On my last visit I stood around waiting for anyone in the shop to stop chatting with their friends and sell me a Hoyt Carbon Element (which I was holding in my hands). After being ignored for 40 minutes, I and my buddy left empty handed and disgusted. My friend wanted to shoot some demos and start bow hunting but he is shopping elsewhere now as well. I did get my Element complete with ATA rated bow case, QAD HDX drop away rest, Spot Hog Hunter sight, Axion HD stabilizer, a dozen arrows with custom fletching and 18 heads plus a soft bag worth just over 2.4K. OC Archery got nothing. The sad part is when I called the owner to share my experience with him. I quickly realized HE was the problem when he started making excuses for his staff. His staff is simply following his lead. Sorry Roland but Archery Outpost is kicking your rump in customer service and has earned my long term loyalty. You had me for 4 yrs and lost me after 3 store visits that demonstrated apathetic customer care. And based on what I have read in some hunting and archery forums...my experience is not unique.

Overall
hidden treasure

i drove right past this place the first couple of times but just look for the big turners store and your in the right stopping center. these guys know what there talking about and can give you all the in and outs of archery. tips, instruction, and years of experience to back it up. the only thing is they don't have the huge selection that the big stores have but they beat that with true customer service. now if you've been to that big log cabin in rancho cucamunga then you'd realize that small store ma and pa shops offer 1 on 1 while the big guys treat you like you don't matter. its like trying to find someone in home depot and once you do find someone its " this is not my department", or " gee, thats a good question, i wish i knew. good luck finding it." if you need info go to OC Archery. if you want friendly service go to OCA. if you really want to get into archery go here and stay here. if you like rude service then go to the big cabin but trust me, you're gonna like this place.
