Petco

I adore the grooming salon at the Oak Lawn Location. I like how I don't need an appt. to go and get my dogs nails clipped someone is always there till close to do that. I just have to make sure that my dogs rabies are either current in the system they have or bring in the paperwork. I also get my dogs groomed there when they need to, I believe they are reasonably priced and I love most of the groomers there. I have never had a problem and my dog is always treated with respect and so am I. I ALWAYS recommend to my friends that they bring their pups here :)

We purchased a hamster about a year ago from PETCO in Oak lawn, IL. His name is Hammi, he's great. Decided to purchase one for my niece, that one (female) was sick, they said over the phone probably wet tail so we returned it and got a male, that one was so hyper and so nippy, so we returned this one a couple days later. When we returned the hyper one we inquired about the little girl hamster that was sick we were told it didn't have wet tail but we didn't see it anywhere. So we picked out a third one another male was very calm and a little older. This one was sooo calm it died a few days later. We called Petco to let them know what happened and we will never buy any animal from them again. I don't think they have sick animals all the time but I do think that the current batch of hamsters they have are sick and now my Hammi has wet tail. We're doing our best to keep him alive. We didn't let the hamsters come in contact with our Hammi but since wet tail is highly contagious that's all it took.
