I like this place

Having grown up in Excelsior, I grew up knowing and loving the old Noah's Ark under its old management.The newer Noah's Ark that has plagued Excelsior ever since has been awful. The people are rude- the man and woman have been mean, crude, arogant and abusive to their customers. I on several occasions being belittled or scoffed at by one or the other after asking for some simple assistance or a question. I have stood behind the counter as employees text in front of me, waiting for their recognition. The place is dusty and smells, and knowing how the old managers ran the store, I know it is possible to keep the store smelling clean let alone LOOKING clean.In short, I will not be seen entering this Noah's Ark anytime in the future and will advise all that I know not to make the same mistake I did, which was stepping foot into that disgusting, vile place.

I have to say that the last visit I had to your store, I was very disappointed and angered, to the point that I will not return. A woman employee was very rude to me when I asked to see a chinchilla for the third time in one week. I was told if I had come that many times, that I would not buy it and she refused to let me see it. I had purchased a chinchilla from your store in October and came in several times before buying her. I may not have bought this chinchilla, but this has definitely ruined any chance of me wanting to buy another one from you if this is how your employees treat your customers. Especially when your store even has my number for when new chinchillas arrive and I made it clear that I do want to purchase another one. I hope that other customers aren't being treated the same way as me, when all I wanted was to make sure that the chinchilla was right for me.

I love this store!! Ask the big box stores what they do when a hamster or a bird are ill. I worked at Petco and their animals are totally disposable. I know Noah's provides medical care for any animal if it needs it. It's great to shop at a store with owners who truly love animals. Their prices are very competivie with Petco and we need to support the small stores in Exclesior or the Petco, Walmart, Targets will destroy or beautiful little downtown. (PS they deliver too...no charge!) The phone number is listed incorrectly on the dex site...it is 952.474.1936.
