Better for Salt water than for fresh water. Minimal plant selection. Fresh water fish selection is boring and limited. Good prices on lighting and other hardware. Very knowledgeable staff.

Please never shop here. This store is disgusting. All of the tank are highly overstocked, even by fish store standards. Most of the fish are dying/ill/highly stressed. None of them are being properly cared for, housed, or fed. This place is disgusting. I talked with the owner after being shocked upon walking around. He acknowledged the issue and then just walked away. I've just never been so shocked and horrified by the terrible conditions of any pet store ever. If you need aquarium help in Boulder, go to Aqua Imports or Petsmart. PetCo is occasionally okay. Just please, never shop here. It is a terrible bussiness.

Do not go to this store for fish! Most of the fish are ill and I've gotten diseases from the fish I purchased at this store. Many of the fish are infected with ick and they do not even treat them for it! Although the prices aren't too bad and the selection is better than your large chain pet stores, it is not a good place to go if you want quality fish.
