Overall

Goose Hummock had a sale on all of their STORMR Typhoon Jackets and according to their website (stores.goose.com) this included the Max-4 camouflage version. I happily ordered one on the spot, but I decided to call with some questions. I inquired specifically about the camouflage version which caused the gentleman I was speaking with to instantly interject and claim that the jacket may be mistakenly included in the sale. I was told to leave my order and he would speak with his coworker who manages the website the following day and call me back. I never received a call which led me to believe everything was fine until I received an e-mail regarding the cancellation of my order due to them being "out of stock". This was days after my order was placed and after the money processed out of my account. I immediately felt this was "fishy" so I visited their site and saw that the jacket had gone from the sale price of $129.99 back to the retail price of $299.99.

Even now as I sit typing this the sale is still being advertised on the home page of their stores website. There is a large picture that appears stating "Typhoon Jackets only $129.99 this week at the goose". After clicking the link you will see the very first item in the list is the STORMR Typhoon Jacket in the camouflage variation listed at $299.99. This is because they adjusted the price back to the original MSRP but failed to remove it from the sale page which is evidence to support my claim. Of course I also have my purchase invoice stating the price I "paid" for the jacket while it was still on sale.

To make matters worse, I was informed in the same email that stated they were canceling my order that I would be receiving a refund on Monday (which would have been 7/28/2014) and I never received it. I have access to my account 24/7 on my phone and have checked it multiple times per day awaiting my refund. I then received another email on 7/30/2014 which was my refund confirmation. It is now 8/1/2014 and I still have yet to receive my refund one week after my order was cancelled.

It is blatantly obvious that customer satisfaction is at the very bottom of your priority list. Their willingness to manipulate the website and cancel orders to prevent loss in profits rather than honoring an already processed sale and earning the respect and satisfaction of their customers should be made aware to all consumers that have ever had or ever attempt to do business with Goose Hummock Shop. Their actions are the perfect example of an awful business with terrible practices.

It is for these reasons that I write this complaint in hopes that my review is taken into serious consideration before anyone plans to do business with Goose Hummock and I believe everyone deserves to be informed of this company's deceitful and dishonest ways. I will be posting this review on multiple sites to spread the word to the largest audience possible.
