I just started up my saltwater hobby again and went to all the stores in the area. This one is 35 minutes from my house and I will only use this fish store. The guy is honest and does not try to upsell you. I went to three other stores and he was the only one that engaged in conversation with me. He also doesn’t charge for water testing, while all the other places do. In addition, he has the best prices among all the stores. He will spend as long as you need talking to him about any issues. In fact, I just started my tank, finally, and I’m adding things and he gave me a coral for free and some dosing stuff I needed for free. He’s a great guy and he’s the only one I will use around here even though he’s 35 mins from me and there is another store 10 mins from me. His customer service is well worth the drive for me.

I've been going to Boardroom Aquatics for 15 years after losing a whole tank of fish after introducing a new one at my local pet store. I come from Port Charlotte because the fish are quarantined prior to selling and because they know so much. I took a friend there and he asked Rich if he knew how deep Lake Tanganika is in Africa? I'm not sure how to spell it let alone know it's depth...but Rich did.

I called this company due to a water problem. They knew exactly what I needed to do to get me going. Very friendly, and they answered all of my questions. Now I know they exist, and how friendly and knowledgeable they are I will be stopping by in the future.
